Management of the Doctoral School

The Doctoral School is headed by a director, a full professor, appointed by order of the minister in charge of higher education on the proposal of the president of the University of Monastir.

Scientific and educational committee

The scientific and educational committee brings together the directors of the research units, the chairs of the doctoral and habilitation committees and faculty members from ENIM and partner institutions. It steers the scientific and educational policy of the Doctoral School.

Doctoral and habilitation committees

A committee is set up for each speciality. It reviews registration applications, approves thesis topics, monitors progress and examines thesis and habilitation submissions.

Thesis monitoring committee

Each doctoral student has a thesis monitoring committee, set up at first registration and made up of the thesis supervisor and two accredited faculty members. It assesses the progress of the research project, in particular at the end of the first year.

Doctoral School administration

The Doctoral School office handles the administrative files of doctoral students: registrations, re-registrations, thesis submissions and follow-up on the national theses platform.
